The KCC will be reinstating “Adult Swim” at the pool!
Adult swim is designated when the guard on duty blows his or her whistle twice. At this time all children must leave the pool water while the lifeguard goes on a 15 minute break.
During this time the adults at the pool will be able to use the pool while the lifeguard is temporarily off duty. Also during this time if your child wishes to enter the pool with you, the adult, then they may do so, but understand that you are responsible for the safety of you and your child at this time, as there is no guard on duty.
If there are any questions in regards to this notice please contact head lifeguard Karlie Zurmuhlen at the pool, at 1-603-499-6563 or karliezurmuhlen@aol.com.
Thank You!
Enjoy Your Summer at the KCC Pool!
Safety Reminders:
Considering your safety at the KCC pool, it is suggested that you wear some form of footwear when entering bathrooms. The reasoning behind this is simple- with so many people exiting the pool and going directly into the bathrooms puddles of water begin to form in the bathroom which makes it slippery and a safety hazard for you and your children. Again this is just a suggestion to help you and your children remain safe!
Also with your safety in mind it is suggested that you and your children wear some form of footwear when entering the grass area behind the pool and by the tennis courts. Being a golf course certain chemicals are used to maintain the course and grounds. They are not hazardous, just simply stronger than some may be used to. Again this is just a suggestion for you and your children.
Also, please inform your children that while they are allowed to be on and use the tennis courts they are not allowed to touch, pull or hang on the nets, for this will damage the nets and make them unusable for members who play tennis. It is also not the responsibility of the lifeguard to watch your children on the courts to prevent this, so please take a minute to explain this simple rule to your children.
Thank You for your Understanding!
