In the early 1900's the Club was located on Property which in now
Alumni Field on Arch Street. It was primarily a social and dining
association, with limited golf. The 1913 roster lists committees
for supper, golf, baseball, music and afternoon tea.
A new Club House and 9 hole golf course were constructed at the
present location in 1924. In 1931 nine (9) more holes were
completed. In 1946 the organization was incorporated as Keene
Country Club, Inc.
Timberview dining room was built in 1976 and the Club was open
year round for the first time. Both the Old Club House and
Timberview were renovated and refurbished in 1988.
Today we are proud to be the finest facility in New Hampshire.
